Paul married Marjorie Jean Castor, daughter of Carl Castor and Sylvia Handlin, on June 2, 1945 in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan. Marjorie was born on August 2, 1916 in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan. She passed away at the age of 77 on December 12, 1993 in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan.
The couple raised the following children:

11.6. (Gerald) Peter Zee, son of Pieter “Peter” Zee, was born on December 7, 1910 in Bully Precinct, Malheur, Oregon. At the age of 18 and recorded on the 1930 census, Peter’s occupation is ‘drugstore clerk’. A few years later he started a 44 year working carreer at West Side Beer Distributors in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan. On many records he is associated with the given names Gerald Peter. He passed away at the age of 89 on July 31, 2000, while residing in ‘The Pilgrim Manor’ retirement home in Grand Rapids.
Peter married (1) Ruth J. Conyer, daughter of Milton Conyer and Hattie Chamberlain, in 1932 in Sint Joseph Co., Indiana. She divorced from her first husband Peter Poth on October 5, 1928 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ruth was born on January 16, 1907 in Michigan and she passed away at the age of 66 on March 2, 1973 in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan.

Gerald Peter married [2] Pauline Louise Wall, daughter of Walter L. Wall and Mary T. Poholablen, sometime after 1973. She was previously married 5 times. Her first husband (Will) Chester Latham died on November 18, 1873 in Alabama. She and Chester had 2 sons before they divorced. Pauline was born on April 10, 1921 in Wapakoneta, Auglaize, Ohio. She passed away at the age of 83 on July 2, 2004 in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan.
